L’état des salles de spectacle durant la pandémie - 2020-12-01
Le directeur de Diffusion Mordicus, Michel Coutu, nous parle de l'impact de la pandémie sur les salles de spectacle au Québec. Présentement, celles qui sont en zone rouge ont dû arrêter leur programmation. La salle Jean-Cossette soit la salle de spectacle de la vallée de La Matapédia accepte jusqu'à 120 personnes puisque le Bas-Saint-Laurent est en zone orange. Donc, les artistes peuvent faire une petite tournée dans l'Est-du-Québec s'ils le désirent. Michel Coutu explique que certains viennent faire leur spectacle dans le Bas-Saint-Laurent et se déplacent jusqu'en Gaspésie et d'autres préfèrent attendre que la pandémie se termine avant de repartir sur la route. Le 75% des billets normalement vendus remboursés par le Ministère de la Culture et des Communications dans toutes les zones aident les diffuseurs à survivre pour le moment. Quant aux artistes, c’est eux qui ont le moins d’aides du gouvernement.
